I’m Mai, an artist and art instructor who believes that painting is more than technique — it’s a way to slow down and truly see. In this workshop, I invite you to experience still life painting on wood as a living, breathing surface that responds to every touch and layer. Still life has always been a fundamental step in learning art; it trains the eye to understand real colors, composition, light, and balance. Working with wood adds warmth and depth, helping you build stronger artistic foundations while enjoying a calm, mindful creative process.
